VisibleVision GmbH – Berlin (2009-10)

James Ramsay was Head of Post-Production for from the launch of VisibleVision GmbH in Berlin on 2 February 2009 until the end of 2009. From January-July 2010 he was Head of Product Management for this low-cost, high volume HD video factory.

The company produced short promotional videos for small and medium-sized business, as well as extensive travelogues of over 70 cities, worldwide for CityGuide.com

MTV Denmark Launch (2005)

James Ramsay directed the launch of MTV Denmark in 2005.  The project began in Stockholm, with Ramsay leading a network re-branding exercise, redefining the single English-language MTV Nordic service as four separate local language services for Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. With the brand strategy in place, he relocated to Copenhagen to establish the iconic loft headquarters for the new Danish channel.

Ramsay lead the local team through the challenging on-air launch phase in May, including the fantastic launch party featuring Foo Fighters in a last-minute venue switch to the Tappernhalle. The event was recorded in HD for as part of the MTV Live series with worldwide distribution.

Channel Health Website (2001)

Complementary website to Channel Health television service, featuring daily editorial features, news, and streaming video. One of the first UK television stations to include video on demand of its current programme schedule.

James Ramsay was Vice-President of Programming & Content at Channel Health, responsible for all original production, on-air branding, programme acquisition, scheduling, broadcast operations and interactive services — including http://www.channelhealth.co.uk (inactive link) website and BSkyB red-button services.
